Another comedy featured in ABC’s Comedy Showroom this year looks set for a full series.
The Letdown marks the first narrative comedy series to be produced by The Chaser’s Giant Dwarf Productions.
Alison Bell starred in the pilot as a  first time mum having a difficult transition and attending a local Mothers Group, headed up by Noni Hazlehurst.
Bell and co-creator Sarah Scheller will work with director Trent O’Donnell on the series which recently received funding from Screen NSW.
Another Comedy Showroom project, Ronnie Chieng: International Student, has already been announced as proceeding to series.
ABC will announce further titles for 2017 in February.

Well done Aunty – the potential for future storylines with this concept is huge
