Producers and industry are being encouraged to make submissions to an inquiry into the growth and sustainability of the Australian film & television industry.
It is being conducted by The House Standing Committee on Communications and the Arts.
Screen Producers Australia CEO Matthew Deaner said, “This inquiry gives our industry an opportunity to bring greater attention to the issues we face.
“We need to address the competitiveness of our industry internationally. We need to address some long-term systemic issues that hold the industry back and hamper our potential.
“Screen Producers Australia will submit sensible and much-needed reform options for the Committee’s consideration to ensure the growth and sustainability of our industry.”
Interested parties can make a submission here by March 31st.
