Next week 9GO! will screen an Australian-made special on Bipolar disorder which is executive produced by Stephen Fry.
High Life is a series of six short films by director Luke Eve, written by Glen Dolman (Hawke, The Mystery of a Hansom Cab), and featuring a soundtrack by Sarah Blasko. It will screen as a one special on 9GO!
High Life tells the story of Genevieve (Odessa Young), a sensible, creative and overachieving 17-year-old student who experiences an unexpected teenage crisis. Unbeknownst to her and her middle-class, discreetly dysfunctional family, Genevieve is about to discover that she’s suffering her first manic episode of Bipolar disorder.
Described as a comedic and heartfelt look at Bipolar disorder, it also features Benson Jack Anthony, Luke Pegler, Brendan Donoghue, Paul Gleeson and Madeleine Madden.
