   David, your Ten and ELEVEN guide links for Feb 12 don’t work and your ONE Melbourne guide for the same week is currently links to the ONE guide week commencing Jan 22.

   Wonder how long it will be before people get sick of reading TBA every weeknight on Channel Seven? I know its a top-secret war against the other commercial networks but in the meantime, the people who keep the networks going – the consumer – gets shafted. Great work Seven

   How do you open the ch 7 TV guide, eg: guide for 29/1. It is in a .docx format and I have tried MS word viewer 2003 and also unzipping the documents, but still no luck. Am I missing something ?

   Scott, Network Ten are currently in the middle of Season 7 of Supernatural. The series airs 8.30 Mondays on ELEVEN.

   Has Supernatural season 7 started in Australia already if not when will it, I’m in Queensland and it aired on Monday night at 8:30pm on channel 11 is this remaining the same. cheers

   Hi David, I don’t know if it’s you or the new cost-cutting at the ABC, but the guide for ABC2 for this week Oct 23 is the ABC2 guide for week 44 … for 2010.

    Guys some older versions of Word and associated readers won’t open .docx files … they need to be converted to open. They’re not corrupt. If you have trouble, try downloading the latest Open Office software packages, which are open source and free. They will open everything David puts on here for you. Oh and the word processor will open .docx files.

    Not corrupted but I think a later version of Word. I have now replaced.

    Looks like to Seven advanced Guide for Aug 28 is corrupted. It shows up as a .docx file, but doesn’t open.

    Bad link to Seven August 28. Points towards zipped technical files rather than Word document.

    TEN does it every week now as noted in the post. It’s to stop rival networks seeing programming ahead of time. They send Amendments later.

    Hi David,

    Any news on whether Ch 9 intends to release an advance guide for May 1 – is it embargoed or something else. Foxtel EPG and other sites have the daily guides so they must be getting info from somewhere

    Hi David,

    Just wondering whether you know what happened to Pineapple Express on GO on Monday night – they promoted it as their movie of the week and instead we got double episodes of (you guessed it!) two and a half men…Like we were all having withdrawal symptoms from not seeing it for 23 minutes.

    When you go to look at the guide for the week starting the 13th of february it say sydney program guide and not melbourne program guide why is this?

    Shorty St on ABC1 (2007) has caught up to when it started on 7TWO a year & a half or so ago (it’s now into 2009 on there). Weird situation but that’s whats happened.

    What has happened to Shortland Street on ABC1? It was airing 430 Week mornings and starting Jan 17 it’s gone! =( Will it come back? The serial killer storyline got me hooked!

    David, I just wanted to say thank you for the advance guides. While I read the rest of the site, I always find the guides the most useful part, especially at this time of year when I’m often away for a week or so and having the advance notice is really great. And I almost always remember to not blame you when they spontaneously decide not to broadcast what they advertised! Have a good break.
