TEN will premiere CSI: Cyber at 9pm Sunday, June 14th.
Set to be the last remaining series of the CSI franchise, it features Patricia Arquette as Special Agent Avery Ryan, head of the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI.
Also featuring are James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek) and, for the first season, Peter MacNicol (Ally McBeal). The second season will feature Ted Danson as D.B. Russell.
CSI: Cyber follows the search for criminals that operate on the dark net, a place deep in the bowels of the web where offenders are anonymous, money is untraceable and everything is for sale with just a keystroke.
In the premiere episode, Special Agent Avery Ryan (Arquette) and her team of FBI cyber analysts investigate a case of hacked baby monitors, leading them to an international kidnapping operation.

I wonder if Nine would spoil the party by airing its remaining S15 episodes of CSI up against TEN’S CSI:Cyber.
So much for fast tracking. I believe season one is almost over in the US so we are about 6 months behind.
I trust Ten will understand why it will rate poorly -esp since most people would have already seen it.
It sounded pretty on paper but after seeing the short takes aired on ten it looks like most cop swill dished up by the US, weapons everywhere and at the ready for a big shootem up. But we’ll give it a look
We’ve scheduled it for August
woops the above supposed to be attached to TasTVcameraman post about Poldard *blush*
I will give it a go, Poldark finishes tonight …….ahhh a great show.
I wonder why it has taken so long to come to Australian screens. I remember the episode of CSI that was a crossover episode shown on channel 9 sometime last year. This cross over episode was launching this new Cyber version of CSI.
Why does 10 have this? Don’t 9 have all the other CSIs?
TEN has CBS Studios deal.
I can’t believe they’ve renewed this for a second season. I’ve been watching the show in New Zealand (Sunday at 8:30pm out of interest) and the storyline is so weak. Everything just miraculously falls in place. As one of my friends said “It’s the best comedy show on tv each week”
