Seven has finally confirmed The Muppets will air this year, coming “soon.”
Until now Seven had not indicated if it would run the show this year, preferring to keep its options open.
But the series has attracted considerable media coverage with their splashy return in the US last week (although some critics were a tad surprised by the tone).
Fozzie Bear, Kermit The Frog, Miss Piggy, The Great Gonzo and the rest of the gang are back in primetime as you’ve never seen them before!
Filmed in the documentary style of comedies Modern Family, The Office and Parks and Recreation,
The Muppets is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the talk show Up Late With Miss Piggy
and explores the personal lives of these beloved characters as they live their lives in Hollywood.

There’s an article in TV Week saying that it’s on next Thursday at 8pm. But in the TV guide section Mesmerised is listed at 8pm Thursday
Probably one of their many changes of heart. Where is Blindspot?
Good news.
Better than having it shoved to next year or whenever.
You snooze, you lose Seven.
I got more laughs out of the first episode of the Muppets than I did with the entire season 8 of The Big Bang Theory!
I said the same to someone comparing the two premieres last week.
